Cross-country Skiing (total 82km pistes)
The cross-country skiing of Petit-Bornand-les-Glières is situated on 'Plateau des Glières'(alt. 1450m). Here you find large
Alpinemeadows, surrounded by forests and mountains, and with beautiful views.
In Le Grand-Bornand, Village (alt. 1000m) you find the " Vallée du Bouchet ". This
well-maintenanced area at the foot
of the Aravis-mountains is the place to be for the one who loves cross-country skiing. The route besides the Borne-river
is a good suggestion.
In Grand-Bornand, Chinaillon (alt. 1300m), you can start in the old part of the town to take the route on the north
afterwards, which gives you beautiful sights of the lower situated village.
In La Clusaz the area where you can practise cross-country skiing is called 'des Confins', with his Lake of Confins.
