Cycle-Racing

For cycle-racing enthusiasts there are mountain roads with steep climbs and exciting hairpin bends, surrounded by impressive scenery.
The Col de la Colombiere and the Col des Aravis both well known from the Tour de France are close by. From L’Horizon des Alpes the cycling starts to mount gradually for amount 10 kilometres then the ascent to the Col de la Colombiere really starts (1,613 metres in altitude).

Col des Gets 1,170m
Col des Saises 1,650m
Cormet de Roseland 1,968m

There are of course many different possibilities suited for all levels, another suggestion would be to simply cycle off around the area and visit the authentic Alpine villages (see day trip 'Beaufortain'), why not visit the Lac Leman, passing via La Col de la Colombiere and the Col des Gets.
